We’re Complex. And so are you.

Offering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

TMS is a non-invasive treatment that is used to treat psychiatric conditions. TMS uses a magnetic field to stimulate a specific target region in the brain that controls mood, using it to treat symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), by activating the neural pathways.

The advanced technology comes in the form of a helmet that is worn during treatment. Treatment for MDD occurs five times a week for four weeks, and then twice a week for an additional 12 weeks as needed for maintenance.

About 40% of individuals suffering from depression are shown to be treatment-resistant, meaning antidepressants are either ineffective or carry unbearable side effects. TMS has proven successful in more than half of those with treatment-resistant depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

At Cedar Mountain Center, our clients like to refer to our team as the “Storm Chasers.” When you’re in the middle of a mental health and/or substance use crisis, it can be compared to being caught in a horrific storm. You are out of control, can’t think clearly, and just want to give up.

It’s in the middle of this storm when you need a solid anchor, someone who won’t leave your side, will hold you accountable, and show you a way out. That’s what our team is known for, chasing the storm and never giving up.

At Cody Regional Health’s Cedar Mountain Center (CMC), we believe anyone who suffers from a substance use disorder is capable of overcoming addiction and chemical dependency. Our center is located in beautiful Cody, Wyoming right next to Yellowstone National Park, a fantastic place to begin recovery. Our residents and clients have the opportunity to extend the treatment experience beyond the facility and truly begin to recover the body, mind, and spirit.

Our services include:

  • 60-day residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders
  • Medically supervised detox services available for residential patients through our integrated system of care
  • Services approved through most insurance companies (medically approved)
  • Residents participate in creating individualized treatment plans
  • Case management with referral to aftercare services
  • Family treatment based upon 12 steps, and the Minnesota Model
  • Ready access to medical services as needed
